Chapel’s Light

Located in the Michael J Fitzmaurice Veterans Home, Chapel’s Light evokes the sense of contemplation and exaltation similar to an actual chapel. The color used was to expose the actual color of the stain glass windows as light emits through. This is to evoke a sense of calm while blending the design and composition of the arched windows. Veterans helped to paint the overall mural as well as choose inspirational words and statements. These words and statements were painted gold to reflect love, wisdom, and spirituality.
